Proveer FAQ
Simplifying Your Success With Detailed Solutions
Proveer’s monthly services are month-to-month with no long-term contract.
General Questions
What specific services does Proveer offer?
Proveer provides ongoing practice management, owner-level administrative support, focused analyses, and custom consulting. The scope is built around the practice’s goals, operations, software, and the work it wants Proveer to carry.
How long is the commitment?
Proveer’s monthly services are month-to-month with no long-term contract. If you don’t believe the value of the services exceeds the cost, cancel any month. That is how we have worked since our founding in 2008.
What kind of practice is a good fit for Proveer?
Our typical client is an independent dental practice that wants management experience and administrative capacity without hiring those capabilities full time. We discuss the practice’s needs, working style, and proposed scope before either side commits.
How do I learn more or get started?
Schedule a free consult. We will listen to your questions and concerns and learn about your practice. We will then discuss how Proveer’s services can meet your needs and drive improvements.
Who will I work with?
Clients work with a small team led by Proveer’s founder, typically through a named client manager who learns the practice, its software, and its priorities.
How can I determine whether Proveer’s services are a fit for my practice’s particular needs?
We are happy to help with that. Schedule a free consult. We will listen to your needs then share if and how Proveer’s services can drive value.
Monthly Plans
Do you provide customized solutions for different practices?
Yes. The processes we use are consistent, but they are designed to produce solutions built around each practice’s own operations, software, and goals. Helping independent practices stay independent is the work we set out to do.
How do I get started?
Schedule an onboarding meeting. We will ask about your practice, practice management software, IT, and goals. You can ask us whatever you want to ensure Proveer is a good fit before you proceed.
I’m not quite ready. How do I learn more?
Call, email, or schedule a meeting. One of our team members will address your questions.
Practice Analysis
What exactly is included in a Practice Analysis?
Our analysis goes beyond just financials. We evaluate operational processes, financial performance, and gather qualitative input from your team to provide a comprehensive picture of your practice.
How long does the Practice Analysis process take?
The timeline depends on the scope, the complexity of the practice, and when the requested information is available. We discuss the schedule before the engagement begins.
Will I receive actionable recommendations, or just a report?
Our report includes clear, actionable recommendations that highlight strengths, weaknesses, and strategic opportunities for improvement.
Dental Consulting
What exactly does Proveer’s Dental Consulting service entail?
Proveer’s dental consulting services offer customized solutions to address your practice’s specific needs. We partner with you to tackle challenges, seize opportunities, and achieve your long-term vision.
How is Proveer’s consulting approach different from other firms?
Proveer combines dental practice experience with engineering, financial analysis, and owner-operator judgment. Clients work with a small team led by Proveer’s founder, and engagements define the question, the work Proveer will perform, and the decisions that remain with the practice.
Is dental consulting right for my practice?
Dental consulting is a fit when the practice has a defined operational, financial, staffing, technology, growth, or transition question and wants outside analysis or implementation support.
How do I get started with Proveer’s dental consulting services?
You can start by scheduling a free initial consultation. We’ll discuss your specific needs and objectives and determine how our consulting services can help you achieve your goals.
Are your consulting services only for practices experiencing problems?
No. A practice can also use consulting for a defined opportunity — such as evaluating growth, technology, staffing, or a process change — even when there is no acute problem.
Outsourced Administration
What administrative work can a practice delegate to Proveer?
The scope can include payroll coordination, compensation review, owner correspondence, practice-management software research and settings, operational response to new regulatory directives, and recruiting support. We define the assigned work before the engagement begins.
How is outsourced administration different from a monthly plan?
A monthly plan creates a recurring cadence of reporting, meetings, process review, and management advice. Outsourced administration assigns Proveer responsibility for completing defined owner-level work.
Who retains the decisions?
The practice does. The scope identifies what Proveer will research, organize, recommend, or execute and which decisions remain with the owner or another qualified adviser.
Insurance Processing
How quickly can Proveer begin handling our insurance processing?
The onboarding timeline depends on the practice’s software, workflow, claim volume, access, and the work included in the engagement. We discuss timing before providing the quote.
What software do you use for insurance processing?
We log in remotely and work inside your practice management software and electronic claims software, on your computers. Patient records stay where they already live rather than being copied into a system of ours, so there are fewer places for that information to sit. It also means our work is documented in your software as we do it, for you to review at any time, on systems you own and control.
How is insurance processing priced?
Per practice. The fee depends on your claim volume, your practice management software, and how much of the work you want us to carry, and there is a one-time onboarding fee to get set up in your systems. Schedule a consult and we will quote it.
What happens if a claim is denied?
We investigate denied claims, identify why the payer denied them, supply any information requested, and resubmit. Where a denial warrants a formal appeal, we tell you and explain the basis — filing the appeal itself stays with your practice.
Patient Billing
What patient billing records do you keep?
We work right in your practice management software, which will contain the full history of our work. If you want reports or records you cannot readily obtain from your practice management software, let us know.
Who talks to patients about billing questions?
Your team does. When a patient has a question about a claim or a statement, we walk your team member through it so they can answer accurately. Proveer does not contact your patients directly, and does not perform debt collection.
Do you print and mail statements for us?
We do not print and mail statements. If you have an electronic service to deliver patient statements, we can use it. If not, we can generate patient statements for your team to print and mail.
How does Proveer’s patient billing integrate with insurance processing?
Patient billing is an add-on service for practices using Proveer’s outsourced insurance processing.
How is patient billing priced?
Per practice, based on your software, your statement and transaction volume, and how much customization your workflow needs. Because it is an add-on, it is scoped and quoted alongside the insurance processing assessment rather than on its own.
Do you work with my practice management software?
We strive to integrate with a wide range of practice management software. We’ll discuss your specific software when we scope the work.
Practice Purchase Evaluation
How long does the evaluation process take?
The timeline varies depending on the size and complexity of the purchase opportunity, but we work efficiently to provide a timely and thorough evaluation. Once we obtain all requested information, we typically deliver in 3–6 weeks.
Do you offer support after the evaluation is complete?
Yes! We’re here to answer any follow-up questions and provide guidance throughout the acquisition process.
Do you visit the practice as part of a practice purchase evaluation?
No. Our evaluation is a cold, hard analysis based entirely on data and information including information about the location and equipment. To keep our practice purchase evaluation fee low, we do not visit the practice to form an opinion on the suitability of space and equipment to your needs.
Custom Services
What types of custom services do you offer?
We can develop custom solutions for a wide range of dental practice needs including dental consulting, practice analyses, and practice purchase evaluations.
Is the initial consultation really free?
Yes! The initial consultation is completely free and with no obligation. It’s a chance for us to understand your needs and for you to learn more about how we can help.
