While some of Proveer’s services have standard processes and standard pricing, Proveer customizes all of our services to each practice’s specific situation and needs including goals, opportunities, challenges, team culture, practice management software, and more.
What is the "Value Guarantee"? Proveer’s monthly services are month-to-month with no long-term contract. If you don’t perceive the value of the services exceeds the cost, quit anytime.
What size practices does Proveer serve? Proveer serves practices of all sizes. However, our typical client is too small to employ a full-time MBA-level practice manager. Proveer allows independent dental practices to access MBA-level expertise and insight for a fraction of the cost.

OUTSOURCED ADMINISTRATION
What support comes with Proveer’s outsourced services? Proveer’s insurance processing and patient billing services come with expert support that exceeds what many of our competitors provide. For example, if a patient has a question about a complex claim or billing statement, we will walk your team member through it. This level of support makes all the difference between providing great customer service and appearing to not have a clue in the minds of your patients.
How do you handle patient inquiries and disputes? That depends on you. Some practices like to handle patient inquiries internally. Others like Proveer to handle them.
INSURANCE PROCESSING
How quickly can Proveer begin handling our insurance processing? We can typically begin onboarding new clients very quickly. The exact timeline will depend on your practice's specific needs and current setup.
What software do you use for insurance processing? We log in remotely and use your practice management software and electronic claims software on your computers. That keeps all patient data on your systems and devices, not ours, which reduces HIPAA risk. That also makes all of our work transparent and documented for you to see at any time on systems you own and control.
How exactly do you calculate the monthly fee for insurance processing? The fee is based on the prior quarter’s average monthly insurance claim payments. For example, if during the prior quarter your practice averaged $100k monthly production and $80k collections with $50k of collections paid by insurance companies, our monthly fee is 3.5% of $50k = $1750.
What does the setup fee cover? The setup fee covers the initial onboarding process, including system integration, training, and establishing your practice's specific workflow.
What happens if a claim is denied? Our service includes thorough denial management. We investigate denied claims, identify the reasons for denial, and take the necessary steps to resubmit or appeal them. We work diligently to maximize your collections.
PATIENT BILLING
What patient billing records do you keep? We work right in your practice management software, which will contain the full history of our work. If you want reports or records you cannot readily obtain from your practice management software, let us know.
How do you handle patient inquiries and disputes? That depends on you. Some practices like to handle patient inquiries internally. Others like Proveer to handle them.
Do you print and mail statements for us? We do not print and mail statements. If you have an electronic service to deliver patient statements, we can use it. If not, we can generate patient statements for your team to print and mail.
How does Proveer’s patient billing integrate with insurance processing? Patient billing is an add-on service for practices using Proveer’s outsourced insurance processing.
What does the $375/month starting price include? The $375/month is a starting point. The actual price will depend on the complexity of your needs and the customized solution we develop.
Do you work with my practice management software? We strive to integrate with a wide range of practice management software. We'll discuss your specific software during the billing assessment.
PRACTICE PURCHASE EVALUATION
How long does the evaluation process take? The timeline varies depending on the size and complexity of the purchase opportunity, but we work efficiently to provide a timely and thorough evaluation. Once we obtain all requested information, we typically deliver in 3-6 weeks.
Do you offer support after the evaluation is complete? Yes! We're here to answer any follow-up questions and provide guidance throughout the acquisition process.
Do you visit the practice as part of a practice purchase evaluation? No. Our evaluation is a cold, hard analysis based entirely on data and information including information about the location and equipment. To keep our practice purchase evaluation fee low, we do not visit the practice to form an opinion on the suitability of space and equipment to your needs.
